The Story of JOMGA
JOMGA began quietly, in the misty mountains of Munnar — not as a brand, but as a small café with a big love for tea.
In 2017, nestled among rolling tea gardens, we opened our café where we served over 40 varieties of tea. Each cup was crafted fresh — with spices, fruits, flowers, leaves, and love. What surprised us most wasn’t just the aroma or the taste, but the people. Guests didn’t just enjoy the tea — they asked for the tea powder to take home. That curiosity became our spark.
Munnar’s tea has a soul of its own — handpicked by skilled pluckers, grown in mist, sunlight, and patience. Yet, few had truly experienced its real taste. Watching the sun rise over the plantations, experimenting endlessly with blends, we realized we had found something special — a tea that carried the essence of the mountains in every sip.
What started as a café experiment slowly became a dream to reach more people.
In 2024, that dream took shape as JOMGA — a registered tea brand born from real experiences, honest feedback, and Munnar’s finest leaves. Though JOMGA had already won hearts at our café, this was the moment we finally shared it with the world.
